Common questions

Why can’t I start duty on the web?

Duty uses phone GPS and a background notification. Start and end duty in the Android / iOS app. The web dashboard is for watching the live map, logs, meetings, expenses, and reports.

Location permission says “all the time”.

While a duty is active, Phirti needs location in the background so the route and live map stay accurate when the phone is in a pocket. Tracking stops when duty ends (or auto-ends).

We hit “3 free duties”.

Each member on a Free company gets 3 completed duties (5 check-ins each) to try Phirti. The owner upgrades to Premium in the mobile app for unlimited tracking. Members cannot buy the plan themselves.

Mock GPS / fake location.

Phirti flags mock-location attempts. Supervisors see integrity warnings on the session. Turn off fake-GPS apps before starting duty.

Expenses don’t appear.

The owner must enable expenses and set a valid 6-digit PIN (home), radius, and ₹/km. Travel auto-fills after the member leaves the home radius (unless radius is 0, which is manual-only). Bills can be edited until the post-duty window closes.

Meeting OTP.

Starting a meeting sends an OTP to the contact phone on the meeting. The assignee enters it to mark the meeting started, then can add notes.

Reports by email.

From Duty log, Attendance, or Expenses, owners/supervisors can download PDF/Excel or schedule email. Mail is sent from notifications@a3innovations.in.
